In order to make a smoother and more successful transition from jail into society, inmates engage in open discussion about the obstacles each individual will face upon release and start to develop a plan that will increase their potential for success. Each individual will begin to set goals and develop strategies to accomplish those goals. This class is for inmates who make a commitment to change the trajectory of their lives. They are provided with the resources they need to develop life skills (budgeting, resume writing, interview skills, time management etc.) applications for faith-based treatment programs and other community resources they need to help them become productive members of society.
