Ramsey County Jail Ministry

Seth Evans, TCM’s Director of Ministry, was appointed Chaplain of Ramsey County Jails in Fall 2010. TCM reaches out to the individuals incarcerated in the jail, identifying their needs and issues. As the Chaplain, Seth is involved daily in the lives of inmates within the Ramsey County Jail system.  Seth leads a team of volunteers who teach, counsel, and equip the inmates for gospel transformation and successful life after release.  Seth and his team meet with over 160 Ramsey County Jail inmates each week.

The volunteers from TCM consistently provide these [counseling, transitional classes, faith based studies] services with exemplary integrity and compassion. The support that the Sheriff’s Office Detention staff receive from TCM ministers is tremendous.
— Ramsey County Sheriff Matt Bostrom

TCM Jail Ministry works with inmates to develop goals, strategies, and networks to build strong lives for the long term. Seth works alongside local churches to recruit volunteers to establish mentoring relationships, and to provide relationships and connections within a local church body.
