TCM believes we, as Christians, have an obligation to help those who are dealing with the trauma of incarceration and related life experiences. Titus 2 exhorts us to be rich in good deeds and meet the pressing needs around us. TCM desires to share the hope of Jesus Christ with those dealing with the effects of incarceration and other life controlling issues.

As of January 2017, over 50% of inmates in Minnesota were convicted of a violent crime.  In an effort to help those who have engaged in violent behavior, TCM began conducting Anger Management classes at Ramsey County Jail.  Each year we provide hundreds of inmates with the skills they need to manage their anger effectively and to live peacefully with others.

Our Anger Management resources are based on the What’s Good About Anger? resources provided by the Anger Management Institute in Oak Brook, IL.  The Anger Management Institute program provides an evidence-based approach to training individuals in effective methods of managing anger. The Anger Management Institute training programs have been approved and endorsed by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). Each of our staff has been designated as a Certified Anger Management Specialist-1 with NAMA.
